Impossible To Kill?

On the quest Wynn Excavation Site D I am on the part where I fight Amadel's Final Form and I can't seem to drop his health and more than a few hundred to maybe a thousand before he regens all of it. I am a level 71 archer with the legendary bow Infinity and i have 32 points in strength. Am I just not strong enough to kill him? Or do I need a team of people to help me?

 

You're just too weak, I guess. Ask around for help, or try getting a better Build.

 

Use natural damage to kill him

 

He has 1000 regeneration, and resists all elemental damage by 100. It's best to use a bow with good neutral damage to attack him; perhaps look for a Wolf Bow.

 

If you can't manage to solo Amadel, you can go to the Planning Parlour section and search for some other people that need a group to kill a boss, or for boss fight services. I just found this boss fight service, this guy can help you with the 3 forms of Amadel for free :D

I killed him by myself with a MAGE. I just spammed Meteor. Idk.

 

I think you're going to need to upgrade your bow as Infinity is a bit outdated for your level. I'd recommend farming ToL trainers for better gear and bows. Also, bring a few potions with you, as they increase your survival chances against Amadel.

You could also try to get a group in the planning parlor if you're desperate.

Also, just a recommendation, but try to stay hidden while fighting Amadel. Once you get a better bow, you should be able to range him and slowly deplete his health. Spamming bomb may also help as well.

 

I doubt he beat CoW with an Infinity.

 

Well, Amadel has elemental defense. This means using infinity is pretty much useless. Try to get a weapon that deals neutral damage. Also, stack up your inventory with healing potions [and some stat potions if you have the cash]. If you just can't you can always ask someone else to help you. Just go to WC1 Detlas and ask around. Some people might ask for cash, some might not...

 

It's fast and it's fire/air, so it's not out of the question.

 

I think when I fought Amadel I used Remika's Righteousness, which was a completely neutral spear. If anything, you'll need to find a bow with complete neutral damage to counteract Amadel's elemental defenses.

Even Olux's Prized Bow would have been better than Infinity simply because it is strictly neutral damage versus rainbow damage. 5/6 of Infinity's damage is negated because of elemental defense.

 

As a person who's soloed Amadel four times, I can give a couple tips:
1. Use neutral bows.
2. Use arrow storm to keep in the area you start the fight in.
3. Try to keep arrow storm up; that way if he charges you or you get attacked from behind you have some insurance.
4. Strafe to dodge his projectiles
5. Bring lots of potions.
