Images In Your Signature

So, I see this being used a lot commonly, and I want to know actually how to do it. Sure, I have tried using the image thing with the link, but it comes up as an X and doesn't show the photo. Is there a specific way to make this work or do I have to... do something different?

 

If you're using an imgur-uploaded image, for example; right click it and select new tab, then copy the website address. Go into your signature, and click the little picture located on top of the editing box (next to the smiley). There, you must paste in the address of the image you wanted.
