Ok, yesterday was my first day on wynncraft after getting bored of skyblock. any tips for a new player?

Take your time in exploring the world, it's enormous, super-detailed and packed full of secrets.

I'd recommend doing all the quests you can and ignoring professions on your first playthrough.

Wynn is about to get a new update in about a week or so, and the current classes are getting divided up into 3 Archetypes each with unique playstyles. I recommend looking at each Archetype in advance to see what appeals to you most in case you start a class and decide later on you want to do something else

As for the actual game, don't stress about having a "build" until you reach endgame (level 100+). Just keep using whatever armor and weapons you want and swap out once you find a stronger piece you like

 

ignore profs and do quests, quests are cool, explain lore, and if you do most/all of them you'll have an abundance of eb the whole way through
don't worry too much about your gear, id what you get and use it if it's better on your first playthrough
only worry about builds and such at level 80-106
btw, wynncraft 2.0 is coming out quite soon so get ready for that

 

Don't feel the urge to do professions, or to be the best. Just sit back and enjoy the game by doing quests, exploring the massive and detailed map. Wynncraft 2.0 is coming out soon as others have said, which opens up new opportunities for different playstyles.

I also recommend getting Wynntils, which is basically like the Skyblock Addons for Wynncraft.

The wiki and Google will be your best friend if you get stuck.

 

do whats fun in wynncraft, don't do professions since its basically just sb grinding all over again ._.
just have fun exploring the map and doing quests, grinding in most cases is completely optional

welcome to woincroift, as a fellow skyblock quitter i must say the fetch quests here are better. no but actually quests are great, especially the mid-late game ones, professions are for nerds and dungeons are cool. oh also what class are you?

 

i went with warrior because it seemed pretty good for a starter

 

My tip for you get the Wyntills mod it give some other GUIs and you can open an map from the world (its a view from up not from the side like the map at map.wynncraft.com) and some other things

 

its probs second best but ive never played it cuz boring lol
