Igbarvonsquid's Apology

Just a disclaimer for people reading this thread, this is not a hate thread. I just wanted to give IgbarVonSquid's apology the spotlight.





So, it seems like everything that Igbar does bad in a video, people tend to take it more seriously than the other good stuff he's done. Let's be honest, Igbar was a very good mod. He was active a lot, he was nice to his friends, and he liked to joke around. But most of all, he liked to live a peaceful squid life, and like to share his opinions. Obviously, the community was offended, and like the other thread about him, he was insulted many times, and criticized for what he said. Ignoring the bad things he's done, let's actually notice the positive things that he's done.

For anybody who didn't see the video, or don't understand what happened:
-Igbar made a video on what he didn't like about Wynncraft. Obviously, this was just an opinion, but he stated it as if he meant it as a fact. Many people took this offensively, and criticized him for what he said to the content team. Because of this, Igbar recently created a new video apologizing to the content team, and the rest of us for what he said wrong.

And for the people wondering if I am bias, I kind of am. IgbarVonSquid was my favorite moderator, because of his constant uploads of his comedic work. But after all of the work that he's done, all of his Wynncraft video, he creates ONE hateful video about the game. Because of this just one video, everybody became pissed off at him, and started a flame war.


In conclusion, Igbar created a new video in order to apologize to the all of us, because of recording one video of him saying "bad things" about this video. If there is anything that you find is incorrect, or not right, please put it in the comments so I can change it before a flame war starts. And as if I've already said it enough, PLEASE, do NOT start writing hate comments about how you think he's a bad person. Please, keep this thread nice and apologetic. And if a flame war does start, please, if there is a moderator out there, lock this thread immediately. I do not want any fussy fits in the comments about anything anybody says.

Just saying, my grammar is terrible, so if there is a part that doesn't make sense, quote it and tell me so. That way I can try to explain what I am saying a bit more clearly.

In my opinion, people overreacted a bit. Sure, he said it in a rude-ish tone, but it's just an opinion, we all have them! If people disagree then they should either write a reasonable refute or move on.

 

Wait he left??? Dammit. He was the coolest. If he has really left I will cry. Also, I completely agreed with his critique and I'm sad it got taken down.

 

WHAT THE FUCK IGBAR! This is unforgivable, he has a full fucking giant dad set, but he doesn't even have black flame or +5 chaos zweihander. For fucks sake Igbar, you had one job!

I can say that I will forgive the squid-man, he's still a great guy.

Except the part where be borrowed my money. where's my 20 dollars?! I got a mafia to pay!

 

Pfft, I'd forgive him anyways, seeing as how I've had my downsides, and if any of you know me for about a year or so, You'll know that... well, I was a bit of a whiny teenage brat, that now that I've become a better person due to the anger I felt towards that old me, I feel like I really turned around, and am now an actually nice person.

@IgbarVonSquid™ Idek if you'll come online to see this thread, or whatever. But just know, I'll have your back. I have been in a similar spot as you when you made that video, so I know how it is. So thus, I forgive you, no matter what :)

I think it's very honourable for Igbar to own up to his mistakes and apologise for what he did; as well as want to better himself by asking for help.

 

actually no, the thread did not start any flame war, also his video gained a lot of supporters
the real reason is that the video probably started something between him and the content team
as you can see from my thread previously - A Note From Igbar - Our Late Moderator

in terms of mistakes or not, theres a term in my place call Silencing, not sure if anyone get this, I rather him sustain his personal opinion.
Moreover, if you think about it, criticism is what Igbar do in his channel, and thats what makes him different than other plain Youtube channels, if he did really change his ways of content creating, it would be a lost.

 

True, but the constant back to back explaining from the staffs about how the game worked, kinda turned it into an argument
