(I don't know if this is the right section to talk about something like this but since it's about the lore and I saw the prefix I'll post it here)

So, just today I did the Forbidden Prison quest (very epic and fun quest, but this isn't a quest review). In stage 9, when that little banter happens between two prisoners and the warden comes down, I noticed that the warden herself has pointed ears and so she must be an elf. And in stage 11, when you are in her office, you can find a book about soul extraction and a letter signed "D" indeed asking her for souls. At this point only one thing came to mind: Dullahan. This most likely means that Dullahan is surviving also by consuming the souls from Lexdale Penitentiary and therefore kind of a secret alliance, but with the warden being an elf could there be an even deeper meaning?
I kinda have an idea on this; the warden is an exuberant elf from Aldorei who, having somehow learned Dullahan's story and Lari's stubborn actions that lead to the spread of the Decay, began to grow feelings of anger and revenge inside, managed to get her role in the Penitentiary and secretly exploits the prisoners (most of the time innocent people too) for the only goal of extracting their souls and giving them to Dullahan so he can live. This could be confirmed by the fact that in stage 6, if you choose to sit at the table with mafia prisoners, they say that they won't be killed because their "souls are too tainted", which could make sense if Dullahan prefers the purer souls. And I also think that this whole soul-exctraction thingy would be entirely an initiative from the warden, kept obscured from the gavellian government (in stage 12 you can find some papers saying that the prison "was constructed in 823AP, and was reserved for Gavel's worst criminals", so the government wouldn't receive any profit by locking up innocents and extracting their souls, but this might be debunked because of the usage of past tense in the papers).
What do you think about this whole potential lore implication?

(I gotta say this though: as someone from Italy, seeing that supposedly mafia prisoner in stage 9 calling the other inmate "cretino" which is an actual italian insult really got me lol)

Yup. The prison is basically a cover up for Dullahan to gather more souls, and is using another elf to do his bidding, as he's unable to leave Gelibord Castle
