    Minecraft:
Try restarting the game, it could be an error with your user generated code for validation on Mojangs end. When you launch the game in online mode a code is generated and sent to the Mojang servers so it can validate your account, if the game has been running too long the code can expire which means you need to get a new code. If a simple restart doesn't work, try giving it a few hours, it sometimes takes some time for everything to work out.

If that doesn't work, try restarting your computer, try again, then restart your router as it could be a communication issue between you and the server and sometimes a simple restart can fix it. If none of that works, try reinstalling Minecraft, though it really shouldn't come down to that.

Finally, and I really mean finally, it's possible your computer recently updated and set some firewalls up. If that's the case, you may need to disable them to connect to the server again. Messing around with firewalls can be really risky if you aren't 100% sure of what you're doing, so I would avoid touching them if it's remotely possible. This is your last option after you've tried literally everything else beyond a factory reset of your computer. If it does come down to this, you'll want to look up a tutorial with extremely specific instructions and research everything you're doing while following the tutorial so you fully understand everything you're doing. Computer security is extremely important.
