I Have A Question About Item Stats.

I have recently started playing again, and i have noticed that there are items that give you things like:

+3 Dexterity

Thats self-explanatory, it just adds 3 Dexterity to your char when you equip it.

And then there are items that say this:

+3* Dexterity

Does this mean that my Dexterity is multiplied by 3 , or does it multiply all the additional Dexterity i get from items by 3? I dont understand, and i dont know how i could test this either. Can anyone explain it to me please? Thank you in advance!

 

The stars just show how good the ID is.

* = Above average
** = Near max
*** = Max

 

Though tbh Im kinda confused on this myself,

You say this is near max, but I got a item with a max ID but it had only 2 asterisks?

 

*= ok ids
**= gud ids
***= perfect ids

 

* = roll of 101% to 124%
** = roll of 125% to 129%
*** = roll of 130%

It can have a roll that's not quite maximum but still round to the same number as 3 stars would

The stars aren't perfect, but in general that's what they mean. They've got a margin for error of a couple points
