    I was playing looking for Likeru and I died to a Steve and I don't know how to get back in the forest.

    Just go back to the Bluecap Mushroom cave at (-1165, 44, -5054) and retrace all your steps to get back to the trippy forest. (Here's the wiki link if you need help retracing your steps without having quest book stages to use.)
