I Dediced To Spend 4le On Horses...

... and i didn't get a single black horse. Is this normal or am i just unlucky?

 

Horse breeding is a gamble. It took me around 8 attempts to get a black horse.

You have a 20% chance of a successful breed, which isn't that high in terms of "you have a 20% chance to succeed and an 80% chance to fail". You can either get lucky and breed a black on the first try, or you might breed 20 times and get no black horse. It's normal, but it does concern probability, chance, and "luck" when it comes to the number of attempts you have to take.

 

My first 2 black horses I bred turned in a chestnut. Just wanna share this here cuz I'm special

Breeding horses is just.. really bad gambling, (to me anyways)
I buy horses rather than breeding them because I'm really unlucky.

Well u may be lucky and get a chestnut with 4 browns

 

Just remember, there are people out there who have spent stacks of LE to get a white horse, only to come out unsuccessful.
It probably took me 5LE to get my first black horse. And then I just bought a Chestnut for 20LE. Not worth it :)

 

I got lucky at the first time with every one of my classes in getting a black horse.

 

I think it took me 25 le for a chestnut so it's not all bad

 

I've one gambled 32 le and got NOTHING. just a brown horse

 

It's normal. Breeding can go either way though, I've bred multiple chestnuts with less than 10le and I even got a white with just about 20 :D Never lost le on breeding, but I would never do it to profit.

 

Although the odds are 20%, I think that they're too low if you ask me

Imo, like what everyone has said, it's more worth it to purchase a better horse rather than attempt to breed one.

Even if you so choose to take the gamble, I feel that you should stop after x amount of attempts to avoid excess emerald wastage. Because honestly, the feeling sucks when you get an undesired low horse after tossing away a bunch of your LE.

tl;dr Buy a horse, don't gamble, only breed a few times if desperate

I spent 12le in horses and got a white horse in my opinion it's cheaper to breed them.

I waisted 14 LE and I finally got a black
