I crawl out of the abyss to... Introduce myself! Somnium(Omni)!

Greetings! I go by SomniumOmni, but you all can call me Omni! (I go by SomniumComics on most socials)

I'm 29 years old- and an evergrowing illustrator, animator, and comic artist with a career in Graphic Design! I love eldritch horror, psychological horror, thriller, sci-fi, cyberpunk, neon colors, lofigirl, reading webcomics, studying psychology and philosophy, watching anime, and so on!

But I mainly pour my heart into my webcomics. I'm mainly known for having AU's (Alternate Universes) of existing cartoons of a wide variety. Known as Askblogs (on Tumblr, haha).

Examples of my webcomics are:
Gravity Falls = Fractured Gravity Falls AU (Stanley Pines fusing with Bill Cipher to save Gravity Falls, ends up immortal and fights Bill daily.)
Steven Universe = The Eldritch Gems AU (Eckhart Universe) (Steven if he had two gems and a certain disassociative disorder called D.I.D).
Steven Universe = Magenta Diamond AU (Basically if Steven turned just as brutal as Kratos from God of War. Anyone wanna see Steven go all "Shadow of the Colossus" on the Diamond Authority?)
MLP = Psychotic Twilight AU (Yes I had an MLP phase woooo)
My Hero Academia = Razor Wings AU (Hawks if he was more of an edge lord, wore darker clothes, played metal guitar, and had an ancient archeopteryx(bird) quirk that sends him into a bloody brutal other personality.)

So as you can see- I am definitely part of the more "grimdark" side in fandoms and content.

I also have three original comics in the work called:
Warped Definition (prequel to COE taking place on the moon. cyberpunk eldritch horror.)
Painted! Color Cataclysm (prequel to COE taking place on Earth, cyberpunk eldritch horror with "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" toon elements. Trust me, it'll work.)
Chronicles of Essence (sequel to Warped and Painted, humanity teamed up against a reality-dreaming eldritch god; Azathoth, and killed existence only to do a whole reboot with a new world, new species, new gods, etc. I'm gonna have fun pm.)

I make sure to use my content to help people overcome traumas, seek therapy, help suffering friends, etc- All through the characters' perspectives. I'm just an individual who hopes to help as many people as I can while I'm here, and have fun playing video games with friends and making new friends! Cheers!~

 

Welcome, young warrior! From what I hear, it is not just a spear you fight with, hehehe. You see, in this world ravaged by Corruption, Darkness, Light and many more things, many of us bear demons from their past. Be it their towns being destroyed, loved ones killed or corrupted, or just the worst battles one can imagine... the birds... I have seen men capable of punching through walls cower and cry for mercy, I have seen the bravest marksmen flee upon seeing their old enemies approach in the distance. All it takes is one battle, one moment of terror... Your help will be much needed, recruit. It might not help us fight back, but at least you can bring peace to some of us.

But, let's leave that for now and speak of happier things. You works looks very nice! I dared to only quickly ruffle through your files, but I think your skill is clear. The comics seem a bit disorganized though, I didn't find a more comprehensive way to read them than the posts. I hope you decide to draw something from here too, you can never have too many artists :D

Besides drawing and making friends, what do you like here? By the introduction, I would guess you are a scholar, looking for the secrets of this world. If not you must surely be a traveler, enjoying the beautiful views here...
