I Can't Finish Troubled Tribesmen

My quest book says " Kill Aenara and bring 1 [Insect of Corruption] to Shaman Inrekei." I have the Insect of Corruption. However, when I talk to the Shaman, he says to talk to Ka L'argwit. Ka L'argwit says to go into the tree and Entamis will guide you and some other gibberish that isn't important. The guy that starts the quests just tells me how to find the Shaman.
I've run through the quest multiple times. Nothing's changed.
I've relogged multiple times, and nothing's changed.
I've changed my Minecraft version but nothing's changed.
I've had this problem for about a month now so I've pretty much done everything
Also, the Insect of Corruption is untradeable - it drops every time you kill Aenara.

 

You could have accidentally missed a quest trigger inside the tree. Try walking through it without using any movement spells.
