I Can Not Identify My Bob's Mythic Dagger

This problem first accured back when I singed back into to play the game. I haven't played this gam ein like a year or a year and half and I didn't know a lot of the things or updates. I did know that you had to identify your weapons and armour to use them. I every other weapon I had that was legendary identified pretty easily, but when I got to my dagger it said: " I cant identify that weapon. That weapon is already identified" So I told a friend and that friend tried to help me so he traded it and tried to identify but he's didn't work either. I need answers so I can play the game and have fun. I am trying to get back at playing this game so I need answers.

Bob's Mythic Weapons are identified when they are aquired and has fixed identifications. This means that it should not actually be unidentified at any point.

If it was aquired pre-Gavel Update, the dagger might have become useless, and has no way of ever getting it's use back.
Same thing happened to a Fierté I had.

I don't know how they could.
All weapons prior to the Gavel update had the same texture. Now they don't. They are not even the same retextured item.
I believe there is no actual way of converting a pre-Gavel weapon to its post-Gavel equivilant.

However, there is a way to get you a new one. The weapons are tradable, so you just have to find another player willing to sell you theirs.

 

There's nothing to fix, it won't happen to new players. it will only happen to players today played pre gavel, left before gavel and waited for more than a year to come back.
