    dun kill me if everyone else but me has already figured this out, but

    To open a chest while Vanished, right-click with your dagger anywhere before right-clicking the chest. This causes the game to detect your right-click on the chest as a continue to a combo you started, rather than an attack, which removes your Vanish.

    now you don't have to die right before grabbing a Mythic or something

    Lagging out is more dangerous than dying, if vanish could prevent that oooohhh boy.

    Ehm, no. I almost died today trying to get all the loot from a Tier III chest near Nesaak.

    No idea, but when I tested it near Rodoroc earlier, it worked fine.

    Hmmm so a lvl 1 can stand in the rodoroc areas without dying if they just stay in a loot chest

    Indeed loot chests do remove the aggro, it's always worked with my other classes except for assassin, because for some reason when I use vanish and then open a loot chest the unvanishing seems to make the mobs aggro, so even if I open the chest the mobs still attack, since I just unvanished... So the loot chest "unaggroing" doesn't seem to make effect...

    Opening loot chests does remove agro from mobs. If you blinded the mob it might have shot out randomly
