    Select the text, and press the link icon right of the a->a icon. Then type a url.

    I just explained.
    Let's say the text is 'hi', you write hi.
    Then select it.
    Then press the link icon in the bar thingy.
    Then type in the link (i.e. https://youtube.com/dQw4w9WgXcQ).
    Then press Insert.
    It should work.
