Hallu! In this Guide I will show you the basics of Music production and set up your

daw (Digital audio work-space/station). So without further ado lets get right into it.

    CHOOSING YOUR DAW:

For this guide I will be using FL Studios 11 | This IS a paid program but there is a good demo for it.

witch can be found here -
    CLICK ---> [IMG]

Make sure to Download the demo! I can't help with installing.

NOTE: in the demo you can do almost any thing but you can't open saved projects (you can still save.)

    RECONIZING THE INTERFACE:

    answer key below
    [IMG]

    1. pattern interface:
This is where all of your sample(instruments) are located
    [IMG]

    1. channel on or off (green=on)

    2. Pan: if point right you will only hear the channel in your right ear, etc.

3.volume: do I have to explain?

    4.sample software or vst(see below)

    5. selected channel

    6. midi drum editor... this will change if you use 7(see below)

    2. Mixer:

    1. channel on or off

    2. Pan(see 1:2 above)

    3. volume

    4. visual volume

    5. Effects (I will no go in depth on this.)

    6. Wave editor (I will no go in depth on this.)

    7. other advanced level stuff you don't need to know.

    8. over all volume.

    3. Options

    1. Time Measures/seconds

    2. stop, start, tempo, to the far left pattern or song mode, at the bottom time scrubing I think its called or something like that. - every thing else is un needed for this guide.

    3. misc. options.

    4. Wave monitor (master)

    5. CPU used.

    6. starting right to left song mode, pattern interface, midi editor(where you write your songs.), (see 4), mixer.

    7. save/record/misc. options

    8. general.

    4. browser:

browse though you vsts. nothing too special you can close it if you'd like.

    5. See 3:8

    6. song editor
    [IMG]
    (optional)

you can put your patterns here. (I will not go in depth with this.)

    7. IMPORTANT: write your songs here.

but before we do this we music import a vst sample piano(in this case.)

you can do this by left clicking on the channel you with to change and do
    Right-clck>Replace>FL keys
    [IMG]
(it will be in a different spot for you.)

    Then Right-click>piano roll.

    and this should pop up

Now this I cannot help you with because this is all about creativity and is fairly easy to figure out!

    To render a song:

and max the quality copy what you see:
