How To Get Rid Of Quest Items

So recently I did the Wynn Excavation Site C quest and when I had to eavesdrop on the meeting, the dialogue stopped because I wasn't moving. So I thought the quest was broken and I typed /fixquests and got some purple shards. Afterward, I got out and completed the quest, but I didn't know what to do with the extras. I tried burning them, throwing them, putting them in a loot chest, but still didn't work. Need help pls.

 

Fill your inventory with emeralds, than replace the quest item with another emerald.

 

That works?... Brb gonna get rid of tons of quest-items, i don't need anymore

 

You can also now easily with ragini having a bank quickly get a new class through the tutorial and load the inventory with quest items then delete that account, this is the long way to do it tho so I recommend @captainganon 's method, also if you have filled all your slots with high Lvl accounts this won't work without deleting one.

They can't. They're just Mods.

Jumla may be able to, but it's been used 3 years and he hasn't done anything about it.

 

It's a vanilla MC mechanic. If you are very, very careful about what you place in your player crafting table, you should be alright. Don't tell us about, though, because, technically, it's glitch abusing.
