How to get reskinned class with an already created class

I recently purchased a hero rank and I've been trying to figure out how to turn my mage profile into a dark wizard; I've tried shift-clicking on the icon and but that brings me to the delete button

it makes me feel frustrated cause I bought the rank for the exact reason of using the dark wizard reskinning without having to create a new profile thingie :(

 

you can click the icon that says "Edit Classes" on the top right

 

I did but it only lets me change the icon
Do I need to like wait a couple or something idk

 

no, i know it only changes the icon. unless someone comes here in this thread and correct me then im pretty sure the icon is only changed.

Haven't personally worked with reskinned classes but according to this (Game Mechanics - Reskinned 2.0 abilities (100% support, 40 votes) | Wynncraft Forums) thread, the reskins only exist for the base spells and not the new abilities from the ability tree (and some non-visual purely mechanical upgrades are technically different and without a reskin so even if it looks like the base skin you might have an ability that changed it) (very scummy that they don't at least add a disclaimer that not all versions of the spells have reskins, I know)

If you reset your ability tree, are your spells the reskinned version? If so, your build might not have a reskin atm.

 

Class Menu > Click on Edit Classes > Shift-Right-Click the class you want to convert
