How To Get Gxp Stuff?

So I was considering trying out professions and I know gathering xp gear exists but it’s all crafted
Do I have to get some profs maxed out first or am I supposed to just buy it from ppl? And if it’s buy, does anyone know where I can get some for cheap?

 

You can buy it on the trade market by filtering for gathering xp or gathering speed, but its quite expensive

Is it worth it to do profs without gxp armor then if it’s expensive?

 

You can also make gxp gear yourself if you're starting from scratch
Most gathering spots are located near to their lvl area so while grinding you'll find some rare mobs that drop gxp ingredients
Use them up with t3 mats on that lvl and use it until you get a better ingredients for higher lvl
It worked out pretty well for me on my first prof playthrough but in the end its just much more better to buy a full set off the market
It might take more than a stack but trust me its worth it if you are really planning to do prof seriously

 

Ok, ima prob just do that then
The prob is I can’t just spend over a stack, I’ve only got 50 le from doing quests
And I don’t wanna waste all of it, so buying doesn’t seem worth for me right now

also what professions do u think I should go for first? (I am an archer 103 if it matters)

 

Food is probably the easiest and most useful prof imo potions are nice too

If you want profit I recommend armoring and tailoring but it's only profitable on super late game

I wouldnt recommend scrolling cause lvling up can be quite difficult

So yeah farming/fishing for food/potion is my recommendation but you can do anything else
All of them are equally tedious anyway lol

And for gxp gear try to snipe some cheap ones on tm by sorting them with gxp identification
Helm/chestplate tend to be much more cheap than the other pieces
Or you can also buy lvl 100+ mats and gxp ingredients and ask someone to craft it for ya since its much cheaper than buying one
