How To Do Creeper Infiltration Quest In Pigman Ravines?

Hi all,

I'm currently a level 40 Assassin, but still pretty nooby, as I haven't taken much time to go through all the quests so far. I'm trying to do a quest called Creeper Infiltration, which is a level 14 quest offered in the Pigman Ravines next to Ragni.

So far, I've crafted the creeper mask and arrived at the mouth of the creeper's cave. I've put on the mask, yet am unable to enter the cave. A message says "You sense a mythical aura coming from inside the cave. It might be best to leave the cave alone". Is this a bug? I've been trying to finish this for hours and it's driving me mad.
