How To Create Good Wynncraft Music With A Drum Section

One of the main outstanding characteristics of Wynncraft music is the drum section in most of the songs. What I'm asking is: how do you create a good drum line? I'm experienced with music but not with drums themselves.
Any advice is appreciated.

 

well the drum line usually has a repeating pattern that repeats every 1, 2, 4, or rarely 8 measures. it really depends on what the tempo and mood of the song is. most songs with a marching feel will have a bass drum every beat consistently. in general try and make it compliment the melody. im not too much of an expert on it either so take this with a grain of salt, only been playing drums for a month or two. just look for patterns in the drums while listening to songs. some of the wynn songs have weird af drum parts, some of the boss music is pretty interesting imo, as it stands out the most for being rly unorthodox at times.
