    Hello,

    Recently an annoying bug appeared where players would receive messages upon entering Wynncraft that told them they "could not connect to fallback server" or something similar. This thread is simply to explain possible fixes to the problem if you are affected by it.

    1) Try restarting Minecraft. Sometimes, errors can occur because of "invalid sessions" and can potentially be fixed through a MC restart.

    2) If restarting MC doesn't help, try switching the ip. The main ip is "play.wynncraft.com", but it may need to be modified if you receive this glitch. Click the server, click the "Edit" button, and change the suffix (the ".com" part) to another suffix, such as ".net" or ".org".

    3) If changing the suffix had no effect, try changing the prefix of the ip. The prefix can be basically anything (such as "gavel.wynncraft.com"). I have found that changing the prefix is a bit more successful than changing the suffix.

    4) If the above options don't work, then usually waiting a while will eventually make the glitch go away. It happens randomly, and it usually fixes itself after some time.

    Just a side note, but after changing the ip successfully the glitch could reappear. Simply follow the steps above again, even if it involves changing the ip again.

    I hope this helps anyone with this issue.

    .co works too :P
    Changing your MC verison helps too for some reason

    I'm not sure about it yet but people said that using something else than play. is messing with the server. I think that's just a myth but i couldnt ask a mod yet

    ".co" is a modification to a suffix. To be honest, probably any suffix could work, including ".gov" or "*****". But typically, no one has to go that far in terms of various suffixes.

    I also play in 1.9, and I have received the glitch, but switching the ip or waiting typically solves the problem. Switching versions could probably work, but then you have to deal with texture packs and incompatibilities with mods.

    I've been having this issue for the past 3 days, and I usually can't log on for hours upon hours at a time when it happens :/ I try EVERYTHING too, including restarting my internet router AND laptop, still nothing. It usually fixes after 6 hours, but still, I'm getting sick of this D; haven't been able to play for 9 hours this time ugh ;w;

    This is @Pretzule's post.

    ------------------------

    Apparently it's possible to start another Minecraft version (I havent tested it yet so I don't know if you have to log in but it doesn't take much time anyway I guess) then switch back to your previous version.

    The node ip is a different ip than the prefix change. The node ip is something like "node7.wynncraft.com" and is completely different than a normal prefix change. I used to use that, but ever since Pretzule was against that, I tried to avoid using that ip to help others get on.

    The node ips are the highest working ones, but are typically vouched against. That's why I did not include them in the guide.
