I sent the wrong forum name on my app. Will it matter?
the bot that tells you if your app was accepted or denied messages your forums account, so you should probably just resubmit your app and note the other had the wrong forum name in "anything else?"
I would but, I dont want to seem obnoxious.
edit: ehhh ill make another one
Yeah mate, you should resubmit.
The message that the bot sends contains a very important step that you need to take in order to be whitelisted onto the official build server. (To start the trial)
Honestly don't worry about being obnoxious, I don't think the staff would really care if you had a good reason to resubmit.
It has been about 3ish months+ since I submitted my application. I have received no response ;-;
If it was a GM app. You should expect it to be awhile to have response. Be patience and I bet the result will be good.
ok just wanted to make sure that the admin's havn't forgotten about me.
and yes it was a GM app
What's your Minecraft username?
Yeah, your application is there. Don't worry.
Both of the people that does the Game Master applications are extremely busy, with real life stuff and also the 1.19 RTD update. Honestly, don't expect a response until March 2020, when post-Dern stuff would calm down.
thats 6 months from now it doesnt take that long. 9 months is not anywhere near reasonable to wait. the longest recorded wait so far is probably quint's 7 months.
If it's confirmed that it can take 7 months, then it certainly is possible for it to take 9 months. With 1.19 Road To Dern nearby, the people in charge of the applications are becoming busier with the content itself, which I think is more important than dealing with gm apps atm.
No, its just that there was a random case where it took 7 months.
Could you explain this "random case" please? For my argument I'm saying that it won't get reviewed for a while because the reviewers not having much time to review them + lots of apps and I'd like to know what this was referring to.
I meant quint's weird case where she had to wait 7 months for a reply back from the CT Managers to have her GM app accepted, despite being a CT already.
I wouldn't say they have absolutely no time to read apps, they're definitely busy with the update but gm apps aren't on "hold" right now and having new gms to help with small things is always beneficial. also if we're assuming that the people who read the apps are working super hard on the update, considering how long it's been since 1.18, I don't think it'll take the content team until february/march to finish it.
Hmm, I thought other normal ct reviewers deal with the applications for other ct members?
I know both of the reviewers, both of them in my guild. Though I can't be 100% positive on their day to day schedule, I know that one of them is on GM world every single day because of the login message, while the other generally communicates to us and always seemed busy to an extent. At this far into RTD I don't quite understand how new gms would function. When the update gets out I'm sure that trying to get new gms would be a key priority to get ready for 1.20 (Fruma?), but right now it isn't necessary
