quality over quantity
Is your app the one that you submitted around a month ago? If it is, it's in there
just got my app back today lol
I just got my application denied, and the response bot said:
I would like to think that quality over quantity is better, but it seems that is not quite the case. Or maybe I just associate "quality over quantity" with "minimum quantity." Any thoughts, with the application bot's comment in mind?
I got two promisings in a row lol
Yes quality over quantity, but also take your time, as they are not mutually exclusive things. I once spent a little over month on a quest for gm app, so take your time, don't rush, it shows. So yes, quality AND quantity.
write out all the quest dialogue, fall back text and make sure to have cool gameplay elements in your quest
A month? Now that's some serious dedication or some serious procrastination
Regarding bot replies; those are automated and not in all cases relevant. Apps that score a "promising" will get a note from the reviewer when handled.
I know, I'm waiting for another application ;)
You are waiting? </3
I do all of the applications on my own! No help whatsoever, especially not from Ascended Kitten.
Can you check if my app was sent in? I cant remember exactly when It was submitted, but I want to check if it actually got in.
your IM application from 1 month ago is in there
Is it possible to make a "choose you own adventure quest"? Like, Ex: "There was 2 objects in-front of you, A sack of gold, and a mythical weapon. You only have time to choose one. Choose wisely"
ay pumpkin :D!
you already have a gm application sent in. not a gm but I think you can only do choose your own adventure stuff in smaller scales, like ends of quests and stuff for an example in An Iron Heart 2 where you choose to lie or not or Aldoreis Valley 1 and
If each choice was a "portal" to teleport the player to a different copy of the world, then it would work. Though, that may not be the most logistical option.
The main point of the application quest is to guage whether or not you can formulate ideas. When thinking of a quest for your application, don't think about whether or not it's possible - just write up what you want the quest to be. After all, you're not expected to actually make the quest you wrote in your application, you're expected to write up what could be a fun quest.
Just thinking about if I could be more creative and original with quests. Thanks!
