Hello! I'm a new player in Wynncraft and I'm hoping to understand more about item values. From what I have seen/learnt in public chat, item lvls are not the only factors that decide an item's value/worth. I also learnt that a legendary item also costs much more than normal/unique items but a little bit more than rares.

From this thread, I hope I can understand the difference between a low level item which is hard to find and an item which has a high level but more commonly found.

For example, let's say I have an Ancient Wand (lvl 11 Legendary wand) and a Zombified Branch (lvl 51 Unique wand). Which would cost more ? Does it depend on the buyer ? What is the universal understanding between players that decide what is more expensive ? Some players are legendary collectors and I have learnt that they would pay more than what other players would. Some players would not even consider buying the Ancient Wand because it is too low level.

I also heard that weapons cost more than armour. Is that true ?

For example, let's say I have a chestplate called Blessed Wrappings (lvl 5 Legendary) and Maltic's Old Spear (lvl 7 Legendary spear). Despite the 2 lvl difference, IF they were the same level, which would cost more ? The weapon or the armour ? Why is the weapon/armour more expensive ? Are drop rates of legendary weapons lesser compared to the drop rates of legendary armour ?

P.S. What if the item has a powder attached to it ? Does it also depend on what tier that powder is ?

Anyways, thanks for reading all the way through. I really hope my questions are easy to understand. Thank you :)

Weapon prices are determined mostly by the identifications that they receive. However, this is more for higher-tier items (75+). Low-tier items generally don't sell well and are usually just sold for a set price, unless it has the most godly IDs you can get on it.

They can also be determined by their rarity... however, if a weapon's or armor's IDs are complete garbage, it would be better to sell it to the Item Buyer.

I've never heard of weapons costing more - it might be due to builds having the weapon in mind and not exactly the armor. The armor is determined after a player finds a weapon that fits their playstyle.

Powders do add a little value depending on the powders' tier, but individual powders sell for more since you can put them on any item.
