How is SE related to Dern? What is the Eye really?

Hello fellow forum users.
Today I come with a very important question that has plagued me ever since I learned about The Eye. What does SE have to do with Dern? (Oh yeah my highest class is my lvl 90 assassin so if I get something wrong it's probably because I haven't experienced it.) From what I understand SE is a place that is accessed by a portal is a land of..... silence. Yeah and I am pretty sure Dern is the same thing except that as of rn Dern is only accessed by the portal to the TNA raid. And in Dern there are way stronger mobs like Greg and The Eye and something called the Dern beast but idk what that is so yeah. And what is The Eye. From what I understand The Eye has something to do with Wynn (the province or the world idk), because in the boss fight speedruns I have seen of it the title and the boss spawn thing is "The Eye , Overseer of Wynn" but the word "Wynn" has multiple meanings which is why I am asking this. Anyway yeah pls answer.

SE is not accessed through a portal, it's just a corner of Wynn that's been taken over by dernic influence
Dern is ruled by the Dern Beast, the Eye is the left eye of said beast and watches over Wynn. Your goal is to destroy it.
TNA is completely separate. It's its own thing.
Wynn is the starting province.
Dern is at the moment inaccessible, and may be added in future updates

 

Realms of Influence are named such because they are defined by their desire to subjugate and spread. Just as Gavel is inundated with Light, A corner of Wynn is inundated with Darkness, which is The Silent Expanse; a place once part of Wynn that has since become subject to the will of Dern (The Realm of Darkness).
The Realms of Influence have a Beast that is a manifestation of this realm. For Light, that Beast is Orphion, and for Dark, that Beast is known so far as "Dern Beast". These are essentially Gods. They are the strongest beings that have been locked in an unending war since before time began.
In an effort to advance its control, the Dern Beast tore free one of its eyes and had it placed in the physical plane (our world) atop the highest point in the world, where it could "blossom" and oversee the rest of the Wynn Province, effectively watching all events occur.

The Nameless Anomaly is a whole 'nother can of worms. I recommend reading the dialogue in the raid.

The SE discovery shows it pulling out The Eye directly at the center of the camera.
