Warrior/Knight Help How Guardian Build Works?

Guardian requires a lot of defense stats. It means it is hard to put the other stats


...but still, people survive well on boss fights like @TinaChan Qira, who deals damn lot element damage.

How do they survive? Is it even possible to have rainbow def? Or I can question...

guardian tank build survive qira hv nothing to do with high neutral defence coz qira only does elemental dmg but warrior have high base defence and war scream that nullify at least 40% of any attack almost as well as usually people use guardian with tank set

however it does hv sth to do with neutral defence if the person survive wybel which does neutral as well, which isn't a problem as warscream and neutral defence don't stack, theoretically if you have high enough neutral defence u can nullify all neutral damage with warscream in warrior, which although people with guard build doesn't necessarily have max defence but the high defence make it the damage is so low that it can regen back with guard's regen

Is 150 def preferred? Not exactly, it doesn't reduce elemental damage and with high enough def you can regen back your lost HP anyways

 

Qira doesn't only do elemental damage, I noticed this with two rainbow tank builds: One had lower elemental defenses with about 120 def and took no damage from her with warscream on, the other had higher elemental defenses with 71 defense and took damage from her even with warscream on.

 

But why my warrior build still take so much neutral damage in PvP ;-;

Even gotten 1k+ neutral damage ;-;

And how war scream stacks with defense?

 

defence stat does not include elemental defence, meaning if you have no elemental defence but u hv like 80% defence you will take 80% less neutral damage but take 100% elemental dmg, by focusing all i mean we have high element defence and neutral defence. This is the better set up because neutral defence is calculated through percentages, meaning you can reduce a certain percentage of neutral damage, this also mean the higher the defence skill point the less defence % it will gives so it isn't worth the effort to do max defence coz theres no point in wasting 50 skill points in defence to get extra 15% neutral defence, especially there is a bug where warscream and neutral defence stacks, meaning if u hv 150 defence it will reduce the damage by 80%, and if u use warscream it will reduce the remaining 20%, therefore u will not take any neutral damage.

However elemental defence is calculated through raw figures, meaning e.g. u hv 1000 fire defence u will reduce 1000 fire damage points (i say points coz no one actually knows exact calculation method of elemental defence), meaning it does not have a percentage cap and it does not scale along with the mob's attack, therefore it is possible for elemental defence to nullify the damage of that mob, and it stacks with warscream as well

My point is with e.g. u hv 90% neutral defence, even if a mob does 10 neutral damage u will still take 1 damage, but if u hv 1000 fire defence but the mob only does 800, u won't take any damage because 800<1000

my focus on all i mean we have high neutral defence % that can reduce a high percentage of neutral damage and we have high elemental defence that can nullify a lot of mob's damage
