How good is crafting weapons?

Would it be better to make my own bow as an archer ?

 

Idk cause i dont play archer too much, but you can check stats for craftetd items in wynndata crafter or other online crafters if there are any

 

Not unless you want to partake in an extremely grindy and unfun part of the game. Unless you're doing the Crafted challenge (because you can only use crafteds during that) I recommend you stick with regular items/bows.

 

just use regular items, preferably legendary ones. grinding to get profession levels up is admittedly not a fun thing to do in wynn.
as for the item power, yes, they can be kinda broken, but you don't need them.

 

I think all these other answers are saying "do not ever get into professions" which is absolutely correct and I support it, however, you can always buy the materials you need for a particularily good endgame crafted bow you are interested in and get somebody else to craft it for you (many people craft such items for free)

Crafteds are oftentimes better than any other non-mythic bows, though Orange Lily is something else entirely
