    Simply.
    Someone attacks you with 500 water damage and you have 100 raw water def and 100% water def.
    Now what will happens?

    1. You get 500 - (100 x 2)= 300 damage.

    2. You get 0 damage.

    1. Get Tidebinder with high water def %. (And some water def % armors.)
    2. Do PvP against water build. MAKE SURE THERE IS NO NEUTRAL DAMAGE (Mobs can have Neutral damage)

    This study must be done. Following @Tsukimi_love 's plan... if it can defense element damage perfectly...
