How does spell damage work differently than spell damage %?

Example: How would Spell Damage 10 work differently than Spell Damage 10%?

    You help is appreciated!

+10 is how much raw spell damage is added when you cast a spell. for example, if you cast a spell that does 400 damage, it would actually do 410.
+10% means that 10% of the damage dealt when casting a spell is added. for example, if you cast a spell that does 400 damage, it would add 10% to that, meaning it would actually do 440.

i'm not sure whether it calculates raw spell damage and then spell damage percentages, or the other way around, but that's the gist of it.

    From what I know

Spell damage gives raw spell damage per spell HIT. (ex, every arrow from arrow storm will recieve the spell damage buff, leading to arrow storm builds. Assassin's multihit also works this way.)

Spell Damage % should just multiply your raw spell damage %.

shit I got ninja'd. But still, spell damage raw is usually better especially if you have a lot of it.

    Wrong, and wrong.
Spell damage % actually increases how effective your spell itself is, which means it applies to elements as well. Raw spell is neutral damage slapped onto the end of your spell.

Let's say you had a Normal speed bow (TierMultiplier=2) that does 150-150 damage, and you also have +50% spell damage and +100 raw spell damage. You fire an arrow bomb, which does 250% damage according to the official Wynncraft info site.

    The equation is TierMultiplier*Damage(Spell+SD%)+SD
So, with all of our values plugged in, it now becomes...
    2*150(250%+50%)+100 = 2*150(300%)+100 = 2*450+100 = 900+100 = 1000 damage.
