I know that you get a bit less xp everytime the mob is above/under your combat level. But is there a formula to check at what levels i can grind for example herb cave? (at what level does the mobs in there start giving you xp?) and how does dxp/triple xp affect that?

    According to the wiki
So in herb cave, mob levels are around 60.
That means if you're 16 levels below or higher you'll start to lose 50% of the xp.
    I would recommend grinding from 52 ~ 68.

Mobs start/stop to give XP with a 33 level difference.
So killing herb cave mobs at level 27 (or lower) or 93 (or higher) will give you no XP.

XP Multiplier just affects the final xp amount, so if you were supposed to get 10XP for killing a mob, by having double you'll get 20XP, triple 30XP and so go on.
