So far I've been playing Wynncraft casually, and I'm level 42 (i know). I want to know how I can get to a higher level, start to understand the concepts of the game, and get emeralds.

Now I've googled these things up, and it only shows strategies that work at like level 70+

So what should the steps be for me to be considered "good", apart from getting my level up?

most efficient emerald-making methods are pretty much endgame, but if you need fast cash then you can do some of the higher valued quests

if you only care about getting to a high level quickly (which i don't recommend for first playthrough) you can just use full grindspots with xp bonus gear, and once you get to corrupted dungeon level, join the bomb tracker discord and just spam dungeon parties. only problem with this is that it sucks all the fun out of the game.

understanding concepts comes a large amount from just experience with the game, but if you have specific questions you can join the wynncraft discord and ask them there.

At that level, making scrap in ragni is really OP. You can make 5-6 le an hour there.

oh yeah, forgot about this one

at the armor merchant in ragni, you can buy "chipped leather helmets" (i believe that's the name) for 4 emeralds per. then, after getting a ton in your inventory and on the ground, you can run down the street to the blacksmith, and scrap each helmet for 1 "repair scrap" in groups of up to 8 helmets at a time. you run back and forth until you use all of the helmets, rinse and repeat. you can sell the repair scrap on the trade market, generally for 10 or so emeralds per.

12-13 emeralds each (if you want them to go FAST, sell them for 10, but generally they sell for 12-13)

Also, ragni hat scrapping actually does become easier at higher level due to more access to mana regen, low spell costs, and/or walkspeed gear.
You can do it at that level, but I don't know if I'd expect to make 6Le per hour, though you may be able to accomplish that as a high mana regen mage.
You'll make atleast 3Le per hour though, and that is prolly the best way of making money at-level (unless you go a few levels higher and do Dernel jungle loot runs)

Getting good and getting rich are two very separate things. If you're interested in getting rich, lootrunning, Seavale, professions and quests will all get you some cash. Getting good, you'll have to play and experience stuff and learn. Do quests and level up, grind and do dungeons when you have to. You just pick up on stuff I guess.

    Agreed.

One of the best learning experiences I had was posting/browsing the class builds forum and asking questions on this forum

if you post/browse class builds you’re gonna learn a lot
Just know, that the first few posts you make on class builds you’re going to be ignorant. But that’s ok. And if someone corrects you, they are not being rude, they are simply trying to help you understand/improve

i mean its a lot of money lol
also you can reuse the build for any sort of mobility i think

    hmm
i was able to scrap an inventory of hats (24) in just under 30 seconds without trying to go too fast
that means ~7le/hr not counting the time it takes for them to sell
idk where u got 3 from

    Guess I’m mistaken XD

At the rate I go it’s about 6 LE per hour (granted I don’t sell my scrap, I keep it, so I guess I don’t know how much I’m actually keeping) with basically a maximum mobility build (king of hearts flying), so I assumed it would be much lower without such gear.
(Edit: Just used my equation to figure out how much profit I’m making...only 3.37 LE per hour, cuz I can only spend 1.5 LE per hour. It don’t matter too much though, I do it for cheap scrap not for money)

Also, for hat selling you have to spend money to make money. So 7 raw LE is not necessarily your profit,

(EDIT: if you saw my attempts at math...I’m so bad at math

One last attempt: I think [money spent]*[13/4]-[money spent] will give you how much profit you’re making, I could most certainly be wrong though. Actually if someone could provide a correct equation that’d be awesome)

    You are largely correct.

    General Formulas:
([Market price fast sell]-[cost])*[helmets per blacksmith sell cycle]* (60 seconds / seconds per cycle) = emeralds per minute
    Example:
    (11-4)*24 helmets for 3 smith sells* (60s/30s) = 336 emeralds per minute

For per hour, multiply emeralds per minute by 60, then convert to LE and round down to simulate having to check in on the bank.
Example rate would be 4.9 LE per hour for a 30s cycling period (quite slow) and a 11 emerald sell price (average).

For a 20s cycle and 12 emerald sell price (slightly above average):
    (12-4)*24*(60/20) = 576 emeralds per minute
Results in about 8.4 LE per hour at maximum efficiency. To achieve this you may want to use walk speed gear/teleport/archer speed/charge/assassin vanish jump.

Caveat: The more people who do this (and there are already a decent amount lol), the less profit you get because of supply and demand. Your largest demands are loot runners using LQ gear and profession people which consume a moderate amount of scrap/day.
Not always reliable market prices, plan on only getting 5-6 LE per hour when pure focusing and less once school/college season starts up.
