Are you using the version it was meant for?
That's probably why Hypixel Adventure Lobby is dead.

It was an old thing on Hypixel that was removed. It let you get joined with random players to play Hypixel's adventure maps. By 1.7, however, all the maps were out of date and broken, and Hypixel had no intention of fixing them. In the end, people stopped playing Adventure a Lobby and they removed it from Hypixel. There's a book somewhere in the compass that says "Adventure Lobby will be back", but it never has in a long time.
