How do I increase a craft items durability?

Hi!

I'm relatively new to the server and started crafting things. I really want to sell them on the market to make some money, but whenever I craft an item, the durability is always 1/1. How do I fix this? I've look at ingredients to if there might be a way to help this but it's been unsuccessful.

 

The base durability is chosen by materials you use, and using higher tier material gives higher durability.
Most ingredients have negative durability (few have positive) so throwing every high tier ingredient may cause your durability to be 1.

Thus, before you craft something, make sure to calculate durability, and figure out what you can use.
