How Do I Claim Relics?

Hello, I have a question about relics. When I found one during the lvl 15 relics quest it said touch to claim, I tried hitting it, shooting it, rightclicking it, walking into it but nothing worked.
Can someone please explain how it works?

Used to work. Maybe all relics got disabled, instead of just new ones. But then they would have to have removed the text, and...

 

Right-click on it with an empty hand or with something other than a weapon. Some weapons just don't work, and should give you a message that you don't have permission for that area. You can also try changing servers, because sometimes glitches occur on one server, but not on another.

 

For me, it only works when I left click it. But sometimes the relic is not on the middle of the build, but you need to hit the middle of the build for it to work.
