How did you guys find wynn and why do you keep playing?

Basically what the title says. How did everyone find out about wynn and what made you want to keep playing? I found out about wynn from technoblades first skyblock video where he mentioned wynncraft and it seemed interesting so I started and at first I was mainly playing cause I thought "one day he's gonna log in and I'm finally gonna get to tell him so much" but after playing I started to fall in love with the builds, music, characters and then I joined Roses (cringe ass nae nae baby guild) and I was having so much fun I decided to keep playing.

 

it's @strikeflame5356's fault that I'm here - I started playing right as the pandemic hit (first login march 16 2020), and didn't have much better to do. I found the game fun, and just . . . kept playing it. I was gonna leave, and then I discovered the marvellous world of classbuilding, which kept me here for another couple years.

I think I remember AntVenom mentioning Wynncraft in a video back in 2014, and being intrigued enough to check it out, but never got too far. Then in September 2020 when I burned out of Hypixel SkyBlock, I gave Wynn another try and have been playing it to varying frequencies ever since.

 

Someone on the hypixel forums made a profile post about Wynn and I decided to check it out

At first the gameplay is not bad, idk what i was doing so i just do what i can and found.
I once stopped playing Wynncraft for a month cuz i accidentally wore a -mr helmet and thought my class got bugged when i kept losing mana but thank god someone helped me. That day i learned the importance of stats

 

@Endistic peer pressured me to play it, and after a while, i gave in
i was a bit skeptical at first, but after i played a bit more, i was absolutely amazed at the sheer quality of the builds, of gameplay, everything, and i loved it

aaaaand i don't keep playing wynn, i just play hypixel bedwars now :skull:

 

This video. I hate this creator now (because it is obviously for kids). However, this is THE video that has most changed my life. Never has another video gotten me hooked to a community for so long. Tis ironic.

 

Boring story: A friend told me about the server and I played there for a while then. Just some casual playing over the years.

i came here because furball the hammy whos a skyblock youtuber but played and uploaded a few wynn vids, when i got tired of skyblock i went to wynn and you know you cant even compare the two

 

Salted was talking about it on the craftedmovie server and I eventually looked at it

and them my skyblock got hacked so like...

 

Watched a vid from the funny grain guy and it had a Wynn ad, looked cool so I decided to start multiple cults here

 

I didn’t find this server, it found me…

jokes aside my cousin showed it to me and I was hooked immediately

 

2 Years ago when I was playing hypixel skyblock and my guildmates mainly thanks to @NewFunkyMode starts talking about wynncraft and I was interested so I log into the server and try to playing it and turns out I like wynncraft a lot so that's how i get here

 

It was a member from yogscast during a livestream (Littlewood), almost ten years ago, found them by accident on youtube. I really wanted to play on the server but at that time i didn't have a premium account. The reason i kept playing (note that i had a lot of breaks during these years) was mainly the friends i made along the way.

 

I found out about Wynn when they poster the trailer of CraftedMovie. Ignore my profile's statistics that said I began two years ago because I had lost my Minecraft account back then and had to create a new one.
I don't play as consistently as I did during 2021 because that was when I was recovering from HSB and Hypixel was down, so I went to find something else and recalled this server. Though, I still do play on the server from time to time.

Friend showed me one day and few weeks larer I was addicted. As to what made me keep it playing, it was lore and... just general enjoyment if the game I guess.
