I have seen many people advertise "Godly" items on the trade market forum page and my interpretation so far is just an over 80% overall item, if that is true I do have a godly nepta floodbringer I guess.

It's all up to interpretation, but I would only call an item Godly if it was high in the places where it needs to be. If you have a nepta with 19% water, 26% spell, decent health and -130% thunder damage, I would still probably consider it to be Godly even though it might be below 80% since it has all the stats is needs to be good since you're not going to use thunder damage in that build anyways. Likewise, if water and spell were trash, but you had max everything else and it was above 80% I still wouldn't call it godly since even though it has high stats, the wrong stats are high.

I don't think Nepta is a great example though. For example, if you have an item which can have MR ranging from 1/4 -> 6/4 along with a bunch of other stats, even if every other stat is maxed and it's 90%, as long as MR is below max it isn't godly since you're missing the most important stat the item brings to the table. That's clearly an unrealistic case, but I think it's a good example that you need to know what the item is used for before calling it godly.

Basically, it really, really depends on the item, but you want the right stats to be high and the useless stats can be whatever (higher is better but it isn't nearly as important). If the item has near max in all the important stats, I think that's when you would call it godly.

Im pretty sure my nepta has almost max water and spell damage, if so how much would it sell for and if i could should i auction it on the trade market forum page or just sell it on the trade market? I also had a 88% Xero that sold for 8 LE once but i can't remember if it was godly or not.

If you think you've got something good on your hands and are 100% sure you want to sell. it an auction lasting about 2 weeks is the best bet. I wish I could help you with pricing, but I don't know too much about the market prices for that stuff anymore. I would recommend checking the market in game for comparable items and looking at their prices to start though, It'll give you a good idea of what price you are looking at. If people are selling items better then yours on the market for a couple LE your best bet is to just throw it up on the market for a fair price and skip doing an auction since it won't help you much and will take more effort then it's worth. Good luck with selling!
