Speculation House Near The Old ??? Quest

Hello Frumans,
I was looking for some clues at mods/admins posts and I rembered what one said:

"[...] The new quest won't be related to the old one [...]" - Don't remember who

But they also said:

"We lied" - link given by Lotem

Of course, I know he was probably saying that he lied about giving the first hint...
But, and if they were lying about the new quest not being related to the old?

Therefore I decided to explore this house, which is very near to the old meteor:


Inside of it I found this:


Note: The trapdoor can't be opened

Also, I want to remind you that before the update, there wasn't any trapdoors sealing the button

 

I don't think that this would be it, this would encourage block-glitching and I don't think the quest wold be made if you had to glitch it. Keep on searching though!

 

there were trap doors before the update and they didnt do anything. they might have changed that now though

 

Maybe something open the trapdoors...

 

I remember back when I was looking for the old ??? pressing that button would make a piston noise, but nothing would happen, seriously, we checked all around the house while someone was pushing the button...

Though, I think that house may still be suspicious, so it probably wouldn't hurt to check all around that house....

I like to think of that house as Mehme's actual "wonderful wooden home" before he went insane, since it's the closest landmark to the big meteor and that there's no one else in there....

 

Good find! We should all look around the house, or send a group of people to investigate.

 

I just looked there today 1 hour ago. Me and a friend tried the carpets, roof, trapdoors, everything. We heard a sort of nether portal on top of 2 carpets but.... I don't know.

 

That nether portal is likely coming from the room right under the meteor which was used for the old ???
