    So 1.9 up I have this glitch where the horse sets me back like 50 blocks or something. Is it just me or everyone and if so how to fix?

    Well, its a complicated technical error, or so Salted says, but its an issue that the content team is aware of and is trying to fix. From what I know, it has to do with horse speeds in 1.8 and 1.9, with the server side horse speeds being 1.8 and your horse speed being 1.9, so the server logs your location as somewhere whereas in your game, you see yourself being in a different place.
