    I can't come help you in person, but I can give you a basic rundown of how the game works and a few tips which I wish I knew when I started a long time ago.

    First for the absolute basics, there are a few things that you really need to know/do;

    The game is really simple once you understand it, but items have a lot of text so I'll try to explain a lot of it.

    First, you need to pick a class to start with. There are five to chose from, but I would recommend starting as a mage if you like a more tankey class or as an archer if you like moving fast. You can always make another character later, so the choice isn't all that important, but I would highly recommend starting with one of those two as the rest of the classes have their own perks which make them a little more odd.

    Next, there are five elements, each weak to one other and strong to one other. The breakdown of how that works isn't really important, but monsters will be weak or strong against certain elements so it is important to make sure you have a weapon which can deal elemental damage of the right type or else you might not be able to deal damage. At a really low level it isn't a big deal, but knowing elemental weaknesses will make a lot of otherwise hard bosses a lot easier.

    Okay, that should be the essential, so here are my personal tips

    Do every quest you can. Quests are the best source of XP in the game and are essential to progressing. Quests give you access to good grinding areas, they give you good items and they give you money to buy bank space, potions, items or a horse once you get to around level 30. On top of that, do at least some of the kill quests on the noticeboards scattered all around the world. They don't give you as much XP as a normal quest, but they do give you a chance to find good grinding spots for if you need them.

    Next, do dungeons once you can. Some of them are fairly tough at their recommended level, but you get a ton of XP really quickly. A single run can get you anywhere from half of a level to a full level if you do it at the recommended level. On top of that, you can get really good gear from the dungeon shops which you can keep using for 10+ levels above their required equip level. Dungeons are also a ton of fun, so there's that too.

    I wouldn't recommend doing any of the professions. They're kind of fun, but you can always come back to them later, plus they become a lot easier once you have a lot of bank space and that can only be gotten through leveling up.

    Finally, keep playing until you get a horse. The game starts off fairly slow and small, but once you get access to a horse, the world grows a ton and you get access to a whole ton of new areas. When I first started, I gave up a couple days in because I got board, but I eventually came back, got a horse and I've been here ever since. Getting a horse makes a huge difference so just hold out for it.

    Good luck, I hope you have a fun time playing!
