Help! My Bob's Lost Soul Quest is stuck

When tracking the quest, I am at the part where I need to deliver 1 Bob's Crushed Soul. My issue is that I don't have a crushed soul in my bank or inventory, and The Blacksmith will not continue dialogue to make another crushed soul.

This may have been caused by me doing the first part of the quest in a way earlier update.

What can be done to fix this?
