Help Me ;-;

I used to play LONG ago and I quit for years now I came back and it put me in that update room in order to update/identify my stuff according to the new updates and stuff but the items that were in my bank at the time are still not updated. I want to know if it's possible to get them update and if so, how? please tell me because 3 of the items are fairly high level legendarily

No, it's not possible to get them updated.
Most of the items in the game were updated with the Gavel Expansion, but some items, namely ones with special characters in their names (and a few others), did not get updated. These items will not be updated and are illegal to sell. You may keep them as nostalgia, however. I recommend starting anew with the fifth character slot you are given with the Gavel Expansion. It may be difficult to understand the new item system from a high-leveled standpoint.

 

Some dude told me that just owning that old legendary could get me banned, good to know that's not the case. I did start a new character because I want to experience the game all over again with all the new stuff to be done (there was only like 30 quests back when I played)

Not fully starting over though since I moved all my LEs and level 40 white horse over just to make life a bit easier :P

Try posting screen shots on the Github, they might be able to update them eventually, and what items where they?

 

Actually I realised that a couple of them were back to an unidentified state so I was able to update them except for a couple of legendaries so I am pretty much fine with the whole thing :P

due to inflation, some items might be priced a little higher than you are use to

xp gear sells for shittons (bad wolfs, etc. the new set is Speaker, Papyrus, Greaves of Honor, and Bad Wolf)
