Help! I'm stuck in A Journey Further quest.

I had just started A Journey Further quest and got to the point in which you need to protect Aledar from the spiders. A friend of mine who hadn't done the quest yet wanted to join, so I reset the quest back in Lutho to help them out. But when I headed back out into the Toxic Wastes I forgot to click on Aledar to start the quest again, and was teleported to the moment Aledar needed to be saved. Now I can't progress through the quest as I can't see him, only the particles where he was. I tried leaving to reset the quest again, but it won't let me leave Aledar's side, this includes /class, using a teleport scroll, and jumping into the void portal. I even tried /kill, but any kind of teleport just uses up the scroll or my soul points and brings me back to Aledar with the text, "Aledar: Please don't leave me!".

 

Does relogging let you get out? And have you tried leaving by queueing to a raid/forgery in /pfinder? (It teleports you to the content when a party is found)

 

Thank you so much, relogging didn't work, but /pfinder did. I thought I wasn't going to be able to use that class for a while there.
