Helloooo :d

I wanted to introduce myself since I'mm pretty new to Wynncraft. I've played Minecraft in some form or another since 2011, but since they were made available, I've usually played the Xbox/Bedrock versions of the game. Typically I'd play Java when I wanted that "big server" experience, and stick to Bedrock when playing with friends and smaller communities. I currently run a Bedrock realm heavily inspired by Mindcrack, Hermitcraft, Truly Bedrock, and the other major vanilla SMPs.

I first heard about Wynncraft around the 1.19 Silent Expanse update, when Grian showed the trailer on one of his main channel videos. As a long time player of MMORPGs like RuneScape, and an absolute Minecraft stan since the age of 13, I instantly fell in love with the idea of Wynncraft. I decided to fire up my rarely use Java launcher and give it a shot.

I played until around level 20 when I got mildly frustrated with the slow travel and took a long break. In the past few days I had the itch to play an MMORPG, and instead of hopping on my old ride or die, RuneScape, I decided to give Wynncraft another shot. This time I actually decided to join the forums, Discord, subreddit, watch videos, and read the wiki like I would with any other MMO. And oh boy did that change everything! After finally making the connection that the Ragni TP Scroll you get in the beginning of the game isn't one-of-a-kind, and discovering Scroll Merchants are a thing, I realized travel isn't really slow at all, I was just being dumb

I also wised up and installed a 1.12.2 Forge/Wynntils/Optifine stack which has made everything that much smoother. So far I only have one class, a level 50 Mage, but now that I'm starting to understand the meta a bit, I can definitely see myself maxing eventually (combat, not professions lol) and trying some of the other classes.

PS: I linked my MC account and Forums account a few days ago, and have not received my dono rank still. (on the forums, I do have it in-game) Who do I talk to about that?

Tysm! I have mostly been lurking the Discord and subreddit so far, and have learned quite a bit, but Wynncraft is huge so I'm sure I still have a lot more to learn.

Thanks! I sent an email that way, luckily my rank is working in game and I'm getting my daily mob totems, so I'm in no rush

 

Maybe you could change it to something like "I didn't recieve my rank on forums" so it doesn't imply you didn't get it ingame

I got normal VIP (actually bought it back in October when first joined) for access to the mob totems, but I definitely plan on going VIP+ soon. Will probably upgrade to HERO as a little treat to myself whenever I combat-max my first class :D
