Hello!

Hi, my name is Orian, and I am new here. I have been playing minecraft for a while and happened upon this in an old video of grian's and was super excited to try it out. I love playing tanks, and having as high defense and HP as possible, idk why, i just do. I am also really excited to meet new people and make friends! maybe i can be someone's meat shield? anyhow! Hello and welcome to Wynncraft. I will say, warrior is okay as a class and can get through Wynncraft just fine but don't go into pvp with it. Other than that, if you want help, I could help ya but if you want more people, I'd make posts in the Planning Parlor if you get stuck anywhere or want some people. Wynncraft as a whole is filled with nice people who will help you out whenever they can. I sense good ol' TrapinchO coming up on this post soon and he should be a great person to ask as well.

I don't recommend pvp at all as it is seriously unbalanced. You shouldn't have many problems with your class on the playthrough though.

As @Justice said, I will help you with nearly anything, from advice to boss carry.

 

thank you so much for the warm welcome! im only level 30 so far with my warrior, but im still feeling out the game. might start looking for groups after i hit level 50, not sure yet.
because of how long the game has been out there are lots of different guides online from different times, do you know where i can find the most up to date guides? also, how can i tell how long it will be until a server restarts? i had like 5 restarts where i kept joining a new server that was about to restart. is there some kind of schedule?

 

There is Newcomer's Guide in my signature, which should tell you anything important you need and give links to more info. If you think it missed something, just tell me and I will look into it.

The uppermost servers are usually the oldest.

Also play on 1.12.2 (if you don't already) as it has less bugs and more room for improvement (performace mods)

 

thank you so much! i just got the wynnitis modpack, i think i spelled that right, and it has made everything so much more enjoyable for me. I didnt realize how much i missed an in game map, lol. is there some way to sort my bank? or my inventory in general? i know there are inventory sorting client side mods out there, but do they interface with this game?

 

There is sadly no bank sort. There used to be one, but ther was infixable glitch.

I recommend not to use any of inventory sorters, as it propably won't work and it isn't really supportef

 

thanks for the heads up! you are awesome, and i really appreciate the welcome you have given me. do you know what is a good level to start looking for group or seeking a guild? i was thinking around 50, since that is halfway to max level, but idk. Is it better just to grind it out to max level then look for group play?

 

It's fine at any level in my opinion to make a group but for a guild, I've seen their level requirements as low as 40 but the guild wars stuff usually is level 75 at least. It's good to grind in the beginning as you gain levels somewhat faster than quests but after maybe 50 levels, idk, quests are the better option as it can become a chore to just grind to the next level at that point. This is what I think and others may have a better idea than me.

 

Yes, grind can make you level up faster but not better. It will be just another grind server. Do quests, explore and enjoy the uniqueness here. You don't have to be fast, being slow is not bad
