Build Gyarian Mansion [ Improv Build]

Hello, everyone! It's been a long time since I've posted a build (or done one, rather) for the forums, so I thought you guys would like to see this! I... don't really know of a style for this, so I'll just be referring to it as Gyarian (get it because greyscale hehe... no I'm horrible at puns).

(This took around 6-7 hours to complete. Not full hours, as in working on it non-stop, but 6-7 hours on and off.)

It's just amazing. It can't get even better.
But, the floor is a bit plain, maybe add some bushes?
Other than that, I think the building is awesome looking!

 

The interior!

You open the door...


...and look around you. On your right is a little storage and seating area. In the middle is a kitchen.



On your left is a staircase. Leads upstairs.



The kitchen. Carpet has been laid out in a tree shape.



This room seems to have been neglected. Cobwebs cover the corner of the room, and... there's TNT there. Not safe...




But wait! There's a door here. Where does it go?




You climb a ladder to access the room. It is small, and seems to be either an armory or storage area.


Back down at the main level, you see that the staircase has an intricate railing pattern. There are some bookshelves here, and another door that leads to another tower.


(Upstairs aren't finished yet, I'll do them later :I)

 

Interior is not bad.
You can probably add custom heads to make it look better.

Just a suggestion, have you tried extending the roof out a bit?

 

This is amazing, but for the interiors, it would be nice if you could use something other than cobblestone, etc mossy cobble or something which makes it feel old.

 

I... personally don't like my roof overhangs to be more than 1 or 2 away from the walls. I tried with 2, doesn't look as good imo. Thanks for the suggestion, though!

 

It's pretty nice, although the blocks for the roof are a little weird in my opinion.

 

use stone slabs in addition to the stone slab blocks, it will make it look more curved and real

 

Thanks! I was trying out a new roof style, and wanted to use something lighter than stone bricks, so I experimented with this kind of roof block.

I tried it on the roof, I don't really like it because of inconsistencies with the tile and wool. If I add slabs, the tile will look too thick, whereas if I just use the half tile blocks for the curve, it is too small. That might have been confusing, so I'll put it this way: I don't like how it is 1 1/2 blocks or 1/2 a block in height for the tile when it slopes. Thanks for the suggestion, though!

 

Front looks amazing! However, the other sides needs a little more detail :3

I really like it but, I think the roof sides are a bit blank.

 

I like the ground and the interior, it looks well put together

 

really good build, love the shape of it. only thing i can think of is that the two colors for the roof dont really match with eachother

 

The colour scheme of the roof is a little weird, but the rest is wonderful.
Also your FOV is killing me.
