So I'm sure some of you already know about this, but nintendo let a guy called Chris Taylor, with terminal cancer, play the demo of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
    https://twitter.com/SpookyWoobler
    https://www.gamnesia.com/news/chris-taylor-passes-away-after-getting-his-smash-bros.-wish-fulfilled
    https://www.theverge.com/2018/9/21/...r-smash-bros-ultimate-terminal-cancer-patient
And just a bit ago he has passed
Seems like his prediction of not being able to live till the full release was right
At least his wish got granted

But whatever, this is a quite interesting thing and I thought it would be a nice idea to share it
But on a more personal opinion, this is the kind of news I want to hear if they are going to involve death and deadly illness, I don't like how most of the news are negative and have nothing good inside them/irrelevant as hell, yet this kind of stuff will probably not even get attention on TV (correct me if I'm wrong and it actually gets shown or something by the way)
It is simply sad that the irrelevant news only make you feel worse about this world get lots of attention, yet stuff like this that makes you regain a bit of faith don't really get much mention on TV and stuff

So what are your thoughts on this?

That’s extremely touching. Never heard of a company going out of their way like that. Can’t imagine what the parents are going through right now.

Don’t let negative news get ya like that. Humanity as a whole is much less violent and destructive now compared throughout history. But it is true that good news tends to be shared less than negative news, though that’s mostly because of our psychology. Angry thoughts tend to stick around the longest than happy thoughts. Dunno why, that’s just how it is.
