Guild Chat

Hey everybody, yesterday someone messaged me that they saw in their systems that I was using color codes in the Guild Chat using the "?" symbol and I do it again I will be banned. I thought about it again today and realized this person did not have a colored name like most mods or admins and so I don't know if they were staff. Can someone confirm if color codes in guild chat is allowed or not because I don't want to get banned. I mean, if color wasn't allowed in guild chat why would they add it?

 

They aren't allowed as they are considered to be abuse of glitches.

 

Like Yuno said, colored chat in guild chat is bannable under the category of glitch abuse. Regardless of whether this person was a Moderator or Admin, you still should take their advice and stop.

 

They can still report with /report or the Player Report section.

 

You pretty much aren't allowed to use color in chat, because of glitch abuse? I'm a bit curious, what is the glitch? The fact that you can use colors in guild chat? Or that you can change your name to look colored?

 

I can't answer the first part, but I can tell you that if the person is on another server, their name will not appear coloured.
