Guide Guide To Tower Of Amnesia

I just now completed this quest. Basically you have to get the scrolls from all the different towns and bring them back to the guy. It is very long and not the best rewarding.

There are 6 towns total. you get the quest at lv 25, But it is hard to finish unless you are lv 35+ (I finished at lv 33) Just because of some areas with the mobs. (Namely the road to Nesaak, but Others can be hard.) Also you want to have 3 or so emerald blocks for buying the scrolls. Some are very expensive.

To start: Get to the tower of Amnesia. It is Just outside of elkrun and the Roots of Corruption. It is a standalone building with a NPC at the door, talk to him. (You can skip this part until you get all the scrolls, It will save you a lot of time to get the scrolls first and turn them all in at once.)

Ragni and Detlas: By the time you get this quest, you you be able to just walk there with no problems.


Nemract: The road here is not to terribly bad but there is one part that is close to the town. This is full of skeletons. Make sure you are well equipped. There are not many spots to rest or heal up. Try to avoid the Citadel that is Ancient Nemract. The terrain is not flat. Not to mention that there is a mob that is called 'sun god' in there, It hits hard fast. Not to mention the hordes of zombies and skeletons in there. With that said, This place is an EXCELLENT mob grinding area. I also got my legendary chest plate (Nemract's ruin) from here.

Almuj : this is probably one of the easier ones to get to. There are no mob hubs like in Nemract. The Mobs there are Fast though, so watch out. also, Mobs do spawn fairly quickly here. Some times you can fight 3+ savanna ocelots at a time.

Selchar: Find the Boat merchant in Nemract. go to the dock pointing away from the town, and sail out with a slight direction to the left. You should end up there. If you can get to nemract, you can get here sleeping. This is by far the easiest to obtain.

Nesaak: This is the town that holds Bob's tomb and is closest to the ToA. The mobs there are lv 40. There are Snow Golums (ranged) and Wild Snow wolfs (basically Buffed versions of the Savanna occalots.) I got through by making a run for it and having a high agility (mine is 25 If i recall, It is a Thunder/Air Assassin). Mob spawning are VERY high here. You can get 5 Wolfs on your tail without even trying. Your best chance if you are under lv 40 is to run for it. I tried to fight them my first try and I got stuck in a tower for a while before I got knocked off the ladder. the good thing is that the road is not that long.

Rewards: 3500 Exp. 1 Skill reset scroll. And access to ToAm

Inside the tower on top of the massive spiral staircase is.... A merchant that will sell you the Skill reset scrolls for 1 LE a pop. you get one free from the quest though. so its not a total bust.

The skill reset scroll basically scraps all your points so you can redistribute them else ware. It is a great thing, but it is pretty expensive.

Troms scroll isn't needed for Tower of Amnesia anymore.

 

you don't need troms due to the latest update. the Starting Lv has been uped from 20 to 25.

 

also if you are running the mobs wont be able to hit you

 

Wait why was Troms scroll removed from quest?

 

I'm pretty sure troms was removed to keep the quest fairly low leveled. you get it at lv 25 now. To get to Nesaak you need to go through lv 40 some mobs. If I'm not mistaken troms is lv 50 or so.

 

Alternatively;

1. Go to each required town
2. Buy scrolls
3. Return to Tower of Amnesia
4. ???
5. Profit
