HOW TO GET GOOD AT 1.9 PVP

Some people hate the new 1.9 PVP, and wish to stay with 1.8 PVP. I get that, and some servers are making a "1.9 PVP" and "1.8 PVP" option, but in the coming years people are going to only do 1.9 PVP. So let's stop the rise of PVP noobs and make it the rise of the PVP pros.


1. MOB ARENA PRACTICE
The best way to get good at anything is practice. That doesn't work for PVP unless you want the lowest Ranking in the current Season of whatever PVP server you do.

Set up a Mob Arena in your world, or download one. Play it with 1.9 combat and tools. Get some lingering potions, yeah? Get a shield, and USE IT. You could kill any mob easily with 1.8 combat, but not 1.9. It's more complex. Find a battle strategy.

2. 1.9-1.8 PVP SLANG
It's the 21st century, everyone uses slang. Unless you're an English teacher or a grammar nazi you should read these common PVP slang words.

Pot - Potion
Gap or Gapple - Enchanted Golden Apple
Souping - Drinking Mushroom Soup to replenish health
Prot4 - Protection IV diamond armor, best armor in the game
Strat - strategy
3. Learn others' techniques

Someone keep killing you? Learn how they fight, it may help you. Learn by observing. People won't tell you their PVP strat. They want to win! Learn from mistakes.
