Guide Grimm's Guide To Being A Good Salesperson!

1. One way to sell is to look at the chat and find out peoples classes and levels. Warriors will buy spears usually, Archers will buy bows, etc. Also if you find their level you can sell them better armor for their level than they already have!

2. Don't overprice, if people say "that is way to expensive" I would check to see if it is, either type in the item name in the search bar of the wynncraft forums home page and find the most common price of it or ask on this thread:

3. If your customer isn't interested either find out why, try to fix it or just leave them alone so they don't get annoyed.

4. If you either ever claim to sell something at a certain price or have a certain item and your really don't and then say "SIKE" don't expect to have customers cause some people will then not trust you!

5. Just because no one wants to buy the item doesn't mean you spam what you are selling, this will most likely just annoy people instead of get customers.

6. Be patient, it may be hard to find customers for items also refer to tip 5

7. Low prices get items sold faster and may keep customers coming back to you for more

8. Don't go around spamming the trade button because that is very unprofessional

9. Paying attention to the chat to see if anyone is buying something that your or perhaps someone you know is selling.

"How to be a good salesperson." -Grimm. I've been waiting for mashed insects like 2 or 3 weeks now, no reply. I see the salesperson in you.

 

I am usually good at it. But when I'm sick for a week with stuff, can't get online, and have a crap ton of homework, it's sort of hard. I'm also a swimmer so I practice most nights.

 

Rule number 3 - Its not scamming if they offer the price first :P

 

Ohhh...I see...

 

I always ask them to offer prices, and hope nobody else tells the bidder that what they said is way to high

 

Rule 4- If you see a guy selling an ethereal and you have an ethereal, wait to trade snipe him. Example 3 guys (Guy A,B,C)

1. Guy A is Selling Ethereal, to which guy B offers a price of 4le in public chat
2. Guy C also has an Ethereal and uses /msg to offer the same Ethereal to Guy B for 3.5le.
3. Guy C and B trade in Bank and leave Guy A to wonder why B didnt choose him.
4. This is a quick way to avoid getting into a competitive lowering of prices with others and is a pretty useful way to make money in an environment with many traders.
